Materials

Let us have a look at the ingredients to make the best chicken fry recipe:

  • 1 kg Chicken
  • 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • ½ tsp Cumin powder
  • ½ tsp Coriander powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 4 tbsp Yogurt
  • Salt as per taste

Instructions

  • Mix yogurt and all the powdered spices well in a mixing bowl.
  • Add chicken pieces in the mix and let the marinade sit for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Heat oil in a wok for deep-frying. Add the all-purpose flour, cornflour, and beaten eggs to the chicken marination. Now, mix them thoroughly.
  • When the oil is hot, reduce the flames to medium-high. Now carefully lower the chicken pieces 3 to 4 at a time.
  • Turn the side with the help of a tong. Let the chicken fry on a medium flame for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • When the chicken pieces are brown in color take them out and place them in a dish.
  • Keep frying the chicken in the same manner. 3 to 4 pieces at a time in the wok will ensure that heat is equally distributed and the chicken will be fully cooked from inside.
