Materials

  • 1 kg Meat
  • 800 g Rice soak in water for at least an hour
  • 200 g Beaten Yoghurt
  • 250 g Peeled Potatoes & Cut into Quarters
  • 250 g Tomatoes cut in thick round slices
  • 300 g Onions cut fine slices
  • 4 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 200 g Ghee / Oil
  • 30 g Chopped Coriander leaves
  • 30 g Chopped Mint leaves
  • 8 -12 pieces Whole Green Chillies
  • 1 packet Lucky Sindhi Biryani Masala

Instructions

  • Take a pan, add 150 g of oil, and put it on heat. Now add some onions and fry them till they are golden. Now separate the onions into two equal parts.
  • Now add yogurt to the remaining onions and mix them well. Put it on the fire again and stir fry it for one minute.
  • Now it is time to add the meat, ginger-garlic paste, Lucky Sindhi Biryani Masala, and now you need to fry the meat until the fat leaves the masala.
  • Now add the three cups of water, cover it, and simmer until the meat is half tender.
  • When the meat is half tenured, add potatoes and some whole green chilies are the time to add. Cook the meat until it is tender and thick gravy is left for you.
  • Spread slices of tomatoes over the meat, sprinkle coriander leaves mint leaves, Do not mix the masala, cover it and cook further for 10-minutes.
  • Now comes the time of remaining half onions: boil rice in 2-lt./8-cups of water & salt till half done, drain excess water, mix the remaining fried onions, and spread the rice over the meat. Pour the remaining 50g oil/ghee over the rice.
  • Now the last step is to put it on the dum. Place a “Tawa“ between the flame & the pan. Cover & cook till steam rises, lower the heat to a minimum and cook for 10 - 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, you can eat the very popular, mouth-watering, and delicious Sindhi Biryani.
